1. Provides leadership and direction to his section training functions by maximizing efficiency and minimizing work hours and errors.

2. Responsible in defining the training needs for all EFM personnel.

3. Provides and monitors training required by PCAR and EFM training requirements defined in the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM).

4. Provides and monitors recurrent training to EFM personnel as required.

5. Continually monitors the progress of maintenance training courses to ensure established course content and teaching methods are being followed in accordance with policies and procedures.

6. Researches, develops, and revises pertinent training manuals, training aids, and presentation methods to communicate the latest changes in maintenance methods and procedures.

7. Maintains aircraft maintenance department training records as required by Maintenance Control Manual (MCM). 8. Coordinates activities with Quality Assurance to generate training for problem areas identified by the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS).


Qualifications: 

  • With at least 5 years supervisory experience in Technical Training, and/or Training Management & delivery
  • In-depth knowledge in PCAR, EASA, and FAA regulation is required. 
  • Must have the ability to perform Training Needs Analysis, Performance evaluation, and Needs Assessment
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills; high level of attention to detail; outstanding organizational skills.
  • Solid writing, communication, and computer skills required. Computer literate, knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and etc.).
  • Must be knowledgeable and adept with the latest technology used in Instructional Design
  • Must have the ability to develop a unified approach to work and encourage individuals to work together cooperatively.
  • Project management skills is desired.
